“Diverzanti” is a Yugoslav black-and-white partisan film made in 1967. It was directed by Hajrudin Krvavac, with a screenplay written by Hajrudin Krvavac and Vlastimir Radovanović.
The screenplay was inspired by real events from World War II, specifically the famous partisan attack on the Rajlovac airfield. Krvavac filmed the movie under significant influence from Hollywood and other Western war films of the time, which placed a greater emphasis on action.
He would repeat this approach two years later in his far more spectacular, well-known, and successful film, “The Bridge”.
